Borough Council to hold community conversation meetings

Jordan C. Norley, President of Borough Council, has made the following invitation:
As many of you know, this council has been focusing on increasing communication and transparency with borough residents through a host of different initiatives (website notifications/enhancements, social media, Dropbox, targeted Robocalls, etc). One of these initiatives is having semi-annual community conversations. This initiative is to serve to better inform our neighbors and drive community engagement.
- Give an educative overview of how the local government works
- Overview of Borough Finances
- Discuss of Notable Changes in 2014
- Discuss other Pertinent Current Issues (Comp Plan, Budget, etc)
- Remind Residents to Vote!
Ward 1, 6, 7 Meeting: Monday 10/27 at 6:30 at Borough Hall, 401 East Gay Street
Ward 2 Meeting: Tuesday 10/28 at 6:30 at the Charles A Melton Center, East Market Street
Ward 3, 4, 5 Meeting: Wednesday 10/29 at 6:30-8:00 at Fame Fire Company, corner of Matlack Street and Rosedale Avenue
The Borough of West Chester will sponsoring the meetings with Food and Beverage.
