On the Edge of Battle: Chester County and the Civil War

Experience what it was like for those who lived during our nation's bloodiest war at On The Edge of Battle: Chester County and the Civil War, a new exhibit at the Chester County Historical Society located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Artifacts and documents are on display with descriptions of the struggles of those who served and those who stayed behind. Other outstanding exhibits are also open.

Visiting the museum is just one of the many interesting things that you will find as you explore West Chester, a historic borough located in the heart of the scenic Brandywine Valley. There are nearly a hundred attractions from Longwood Gardens to the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail. Many attractions are located on the Route 52 Scenic Corridor which begins in West Chester.
