Santa's Causes

Santa ClausWest Chester, PA -- Santa Claus will be making regular appearances in the Courtyard at The Lincoln Room (28 W Market St, 610-696-2102) every Saturday and Sunday through December 19 from 2 to 6pm. Santa will also be making special appearances on Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24. He will be greeting families and children in the outdoor courtyard decorated for the season by local charities. Meeting with Santa is free to the public but donations of cash, toiletries, books, gently used coats or quality canned foods will be accepted and divided among participating charities. Each charity has a tree in the courtyard decorated with the theme of their organization.

This year's charities are:

  • ChesCo Community Imprints
  • Chester County Historical Society
  • Domestic Violence Center of Chester County
  • Interfaith Housing Assistance Corp of Chester County
  • Safe Harbor
  • West Chester Downtown Foundation
  • West Chester Food Cupboard
  • West Chester Public Library

Santa's Causes is presented by the Chester County Community Foundation and The Lincoln Room and is sponsored by Strategic Technology Concepts of West Chester plus many helpful volunteers known as "Santa's Causes Elves."
