The glamour of the Oscars was present as the Chester County Community Foundation, under the masterful hand of Karen Simmons, threw a fabulous party for about 175 guests who spent the night in Hollywood — otherwise known as Milestones in West Chester.
The movie Lincoln, with its multitude of nominations, was honored by speeches from the Little Lincolns and the guest appearence of Lane Pearson from Richmond, VA, who was a stand-in for Daniel Day-Lewis and an extra on the set. He talked about the experience of being directed by Steven Spielberg and what it took to make what is now an iconic movie. (Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for a record third time.)
