West Chester, PA — High median household income, low poverty and unemployment rates, and the close proximity of public attractions are among the features that make the County of Chester one of the four top-ranked counties in the nation, according to articles that appear on Movoto.com, a real estate website, and HuffingtonPost.com.

“We looked at 640 counties across the US in order to create this ranking,” Movoto’s editorial content manager Randy Nelson told The Huffington Post. “We scored each in terms of unemployment, median household income, median rent and home price (higher being more desirable), precent of families below the poverty line and high school graduation rate. The average of these scores was used to determine the best counties, the higher the better.”

And based on their impressively high scores, Nelson insists that places like Chester County have “earned the right to be called the best in the nation.”

This is impressive, no doubt. Then again, residents and visitors already know that.
