This week’s “Business Spotlight” is Sedona Taphouse, which is located at 44 W Gay Street! We sat down with co-owners, David Trout and Pete Shivery, to get the inside scoop.

1. Tell me about your business and what makes it unique.

Sedona Taphouse is a place to connect with others and have a true craft experience! Enjoy our best-in-class happy hour and weekly specials while dining on the patio, which overlooks the Jack Loew Plaza at 44 West. Or come visit us for “Dine Out for Charity!” For lunch or dinner on Mondays, get HALF PRICE on either our 8oz. Black Angus Flat Iron Steak or our 7oz. Grilled Salmon and we will donate $1 from each sold to support a local charity!

2. What services or products do you offer?

Our made-from-scratch menu is inspired by Southwest cuisine, featuring hand-cut steaks, sustainable seafood selections, rich pastas, and a variety of vegan, heart-healthy, and gluten-free options. We also offer hundreds of craft beers (with a large local focus), premium wines, and hand-crafted cocktails.

3. How long have you been in business?

We opened in April 2021, so almost 2 years!

4. What do you love most about being located in West Chester?

West Chester has an incredible downtown vibe. There are tons of awesome restaurants and shops, and great programs/events that the BID has introduced to keep the action going.

5. What can you tell me about the culture or atmosphere of your business?

We value hospitality and support our team significantly (75% of our original team has remained after 2 years!)

6. Is there anything else you would like to share about your business?

We believe that we embody the best of what restaurants can offer guests: exemplary service, quality food & beverage, a clean & upbeat environment, and a great partner in the community!
