This week’s “Business Spotlight” is Market Salon, which is located at 132 W Market Street. We sat down with the owner/stylist, Pattie Bilyk, to get the inside scoop.

1. Tell me about your business and what makes it unique.

Market Salon stands out for its specialization in blonding and hair color services, creating a niche expertise. The use of premium Amika and Olaplex hair products and the incorporation of Farmhouse Fresh skincare products adds an extra layer of uniqueness, offering a holistic approach to hair and skincare. This combination of specialized services and high-quality products sets Market Salon apart and offers a tailored experience and quality treatments.

2. What services or products do you offer?

Hair extensions, custom dimensional hair color and blonding services, permanent waves, haircuts, Brazilian Blowout anti-frizz, vivid and pastel fashion colors. I offer Amika and Olaplex hair care, and Farhouse Fresh skin care. 

3. How long have you been in business?

I opened Market Salon in January 2021. I have over 20 years of experience as a licensed hairstylist. 

4. What do you love most about being located in West Chester?

West Chester is one of my most favorite places! I love the strong community, amazing people, and delicious restaurants. West Chester is in a perfect location and offers so many wonderful events and experiences for everyone!

5. What can you tell me about the culture or atmosphere of your business?

I want to provide a welcoming and relaxing experience for everyone who comes to Market Salon.
