For this week’s “Business Spotlight” we sat down with Alanna Higgins and Elisha Farley who own AE Wellness, located at 117 West Gay Street!

Tell me about your store and any particular things you believe make it unique.

We are a mental health private practice that serves the unique needs of our community through in-person and telehealth services.

What services or products do you offer?

We see people from all walks of life, from ages 5 and up. We offer individual therapy, family therapy, couple’s therapy, psychiatric services, and started a DBT skills group for teens with the hope to offer more groups in the near future. We are also connected with WCU’s counseling department and work with them to ensure their students receive fast and quality care.

How long have you been in business?

Our practice has been open for 3 years but all of the clinicians have years of experience before coming to AE Wellness.

What do you love most about being located in West Chester?

From what our clients tell us and our own experiences, the central location of the office makes it very easy and convenient for them to reach us. It also allows us to conduct walking therapy with our clients in a safe manner when the weather is right.

What can you tell me about the culture or atmosphere of your store?

We are warm, friendly, open, accepting, and non-judgmental as well as welcoming to all people and their different needs. We believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone and we work hard to make that possible for those who reach out to us.
