West Chester Public Hearing on Proposed Zoning Changes

This event has passed.

The Borough is continuing the effort to update and revise zoning regulations for the entire town. These revisions include limiting what businesses can set up in what part of town. The BID has formally asked Council to change the zoning draft to allow breweries, limited wineries, and limited distilleries in the Town Center. The current draft only allows those entities to operate in the Industrial Zone which is essentially the old Wyeth Pharmaceutical property and Sartomer Chemical Company.

To make this an open and transparent process, Council’s Smart Growth Committee is having a public hearing online on Thursday March 25th at 5:30 p.m. If you have an issue or concern with these proposed regulations, I highly encourage you to participate in the public hearing.
