STEM Fair
May 6 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Young scientists and engineers will get their hands on West Chester Public Library’s new STEM Kits, exploring topics such as weather, magnetism, circuitry, water conservation and construction. This event is part of Southeastern PA’s Remake Learning Days.
West Chester Public Library has 20 circulating STEM kits for children in preschool through fifth grade. The hands-on kits contain books in both English and Spanish, materials, and learning guides which allow children and their families to explore a variety of science and technology subjects such as weather, magnetism, circuitry, insects, water conservation, construction, forces and motion, astronomy and more. At our STEM Fair, families will have the opportunity to explore a selection of STEM kits, and will receive a lab book to keep track of the STEM kits they check out and use at home. West Chester Public Library’s STEM kits were purchased with a grant from the Justamere Foundation.
Registration opens at 10:00am on Saturday, April 29th. Click here to register!
