September First Friday

We’re back with another First Friday in Downtown West Chester! This month, we have TWO special events happening from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

Outside of Sedona Taphouse on Gay Street, Stefanie Heron Birl (aka Birl Girl Designs) will be face painting! She is a talented and local face painter, glitter tattoo artist, window artist, illustrator, and muralist.

At the Old Chester County Historic Courthouse, onyx&honey will be rocking out! This local, rhythmic group packs a punch that is unique and versatile, due to over forty years of combined performance experience between its core members, Nikki DiGiorgio and Rob Perna Jr. Onyx&honey‘s ever-expanding repertoire draws on each member’s musical whims, resulting in a fine blend of electro-pop-punk-funk-singer songwriter-soul. Original music is their wheelhouse but they often shine on select eclectic cover tunes that we all know and love.

As always, many businesses are open late and running specials in celebration of First Friday, and all metered, street parking is free after 5pm. Hope you can make it!
