

Fierce Women of West Chester – Walking Tour

| $15Women make up half of the population, yet their stories have often been neglected, excluded, or marginalized in public memory. West Chester, long the center of battles for equality and civil rights, has been home to several trailblazing women who left an indelible mark on the history of law, abolition, suffrage, education, politics, and science. This 1.5-hour walking tour will visit the homes and businesses of the women that shaped West Chester from colonial times to the present.
Tours cover approximately 1.5 miles and last 90 minutes. The tour is entirely outdoors. Sidewalks and terrain may be uneven. The event is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Tour dates and times:
- Saturday, May 7th: 11:00am – 12:30pm and 3:30pm – 5:00pm
- Sunday, May 8th: 1:30pm – 3:00pm
