Constantine Maroulis is one of those world-class performers who is an ultimate artist – singer, songwriter, musician, composer, band member, solo artist, film actor, Tony Award-nominated stage actor and now, theatre producer and podcaster with his show, “The Flex with Constantine Maroulis.”

Seen by 30 million viewers on American Idol, and seen and heard by tens of thousands more on Broadway in Rock of Ages (garnering a Drama League Award nomination), plus concerts and show tours from L.A. to NYC, this is the first ever appearance here at Uptown of Constantine Maroulis and his band.

And  it all started when he was a scrappy kid from Brooklyn.

On his artistic journey to discover where he fit in the entertainment industry Maroulis first came to prominence as the beloved rock n’ roll underdog on American Idol. He then secured his place in pop culture as a Broadway superstar, best known for his Tony Award-nominated role in Rock of Ages. After touring around the country in concert appearances with Postmodern Jukebox and Rocktopia, creating films, and writing and recording, Maroulis is entering his third act, with a bevy of exciting projects, including putting the finishing touches on his most swaggering solo music to date and being back on the Off-Broadway stage.

Prior to his appearance at Uptown, Maroulis will be starring in the role of Alan Freed, the Cleveland DJ who coined the term “rock and roll” in a new Off-Broadway musical, “The Rock and Roll Man” opening this summer.
