CommUnity Day 2023

Join the Charles A. Melton Arts & Ed Center for our 12th annual CommUnity Day celebration in Downtown West Chester on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 11am-4pm. Serving our community since 1918, “the center” has been a staple in West Chester and beyond by providing free and discounted services our community so desperately needs. From education services to recreation activities to turkey drops and backpack giveaways, our doors are always open and we continue to evolve to meet the needs of our community.

This year we have a lofty fundraising goal to help fund new programming as well as our tried and true services such as Summer League basketball, New Directions education programs, etc. We’re also excited to have new programs such as the Fencing Academy of Philadelphia, Mentoring Our Black & Brown Youth (M.O.B.B.Y.), and Pickleball Paddlers joining us for a stellar year.
