African American Quilting Art Show & Reception

| FreeFrom June 15th – 19th, the Chester County Art Association is hosting an African American Quilt display, reception, and discussion in honor of Juneteenth. Carol Weaver, a West Chester Juneteenth Planning Council Partner, and co-founder of Seba Enrichment Academy, said that “quilts played a strategic role during the “Underground Railroad” and the enslaved community during journey towards freedom”.
