The Art Trust Gallery at Meridian Bank was created to help enhance the cultural environment of Chester County by linking local business, civic philanthropy and the arts. The Art Trust will feature several exhibitions of regional fine artists annually in the facility. Co-located with the gallery is a Meridian Bank loan production office, staffed by customer service representatives and commercial loan officers to enable the bank to better serve its existing and future area business customers.
The location, formerly the Garrubbo Bazán Gallery, is designed for viewing original artwork in various media representing traditional and alternative artistic disciplines. The current show, entitled Transitions, features regional artists John Suplee, Diane Cirafesi, Brett Anderson Walker and Terry DeAngelo, each of whom are exhibiting works that symbolize their own transitions as artists.
The Gallery at Meridian Bank will be open to the public during regular banking business hours and for special events such as First Friday and Gallery Walk. All works exhibited will be offered for sale, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Art Trust to fund art scholarships and other art-related charitable initiatives.
