Taylor's Music Store Grand Piano Auction
Taylor's Music Store, located at 116 W Gay St, is auctioning off a vintage 1890 Kranich & Bach Exotic Rosewood 6-foot Victorian Parlor Grand Piano.
One of the most innovative and advanced piano makers of the 19th Century was the Kranich & Bach Piano Company of New York. Kranich & Bach was established in 1864, and became well known for building extremely well-made and expensive pianos. They also became known for their lavish use of exotic woods and extravagant cabinet styles, as well as their superior tone and construction. Kranich & Bach was awarded many patents throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries, many of which were considered well ahead of their time.
The piano being auctioned is a unique, one of a kind instrument, and still remains in playing condition. The piano is being reconditioned by Taylor's Music Store, and because it is so unique, they will be offering it through an AUCTION BIDDING process.

HOW TO BID: Initial bid must be in person at Taylor's Music Store, with a demonstration and invitation to play the piano. One of their three piano experts - Tom Buglio, Tony Lombardi, or Pete Thompson - will show you the piano, and if so inclined, will help you to properly fill out the bidding form.
FINAL DAY: Saturday, February 25, 2017
PAYMENT: Winner must make arrangements to pay for the piano by cash, check, credit card upon winning of bid.
