YOUTH ACTIVITIES

SAT vs ACT seminar & diagnostic tests
Trying to figure out if your child needs to take the SAT and the ACT? Every college now accepts both the SAT and ACT on equal standing.  Since students often excel in one of the tests over the other, the fastest path to complete this part of the college application process is to determine the test to which they are best suited.  Study smart by beginning with the end in mind.  The course determines the path to the strongest test scores in the fastest, most affordable manner possible.
Taught by highly trained test preparation professionals, this integrated course provides the top strategies for the SAT and the ACT then administers a full length diagnostic test for each.  Upon course completion, students receive a full report showing how the scores compare and a recommendation for the test path to pursue. Limit of 6 students per class.

The program will be sectioned into six segments with lunch and stretch breaks:

  • Exposure to the SAT main strategies and approaches (two sessions)
  • The administration of full-length diagnostic SAT
  • Exposure to the ACT main strategies and approaches (two sessions)
  • The administration of a full-length diagnostic ACT
  • The scoring of each test, converting and comparing the scores to determine the stronger test

Results will be provided within 3 weeks of the program’s conclusion. Students are asked to bring: Pencils, highlighter, calculator, three ring binder, a snack and a drink.
