Budweiser Clydesdales in West Chester

Clydesdale Horses

The fuzzy-footed giants are back!

Grab your cameras and watch as the horses clippity-clop along Gay and Market streets, delivering their favorite adult beverage to participating bars & restaurants downtown on Thursday, August 31, 2017!

It all starts at Gay and Matlack Streets, then proceeds west to Darlington, south to Market, and east to Walnut Street.

First introduced in 1933 after the repeal of Prohibition, the Clydesdales have served as a living symbol of not just Budweiser, but the unconquerable American spirit. Famous worldwide for their appearances in parades, television broadcasts and even Presidential inaugurations, they’re now set to do their most important job yet -- deliver beer to RAMP certified downtown watering holes.

The Clydesdale team will make a number of stops along the way and provide ceremonial deliveies to the following establishments: Root's Cafe; Avalon; DeStarr's Restaurant; Teca; The Social Lounge; Side Bar & Restaurant; Kildare's Irish Pub; Ryan's Pub; Saloon 151; Landmark Americana Tap & Grill; Pietro's Prime Steakhouse & Seafood; Mercato; Barnaby's of West Chester; Ram's Head Bar & Grill; Mas Mexicali Cantina; Limoncello Ristorante; and Split Rail Tavern.

There is no parking along the parade route (Gay & Market Streets). See parking map. Your best bet for parking is at one of the three garages downtown:
Chestnut Street Garage, Chestnut & Walnut St, $5 flat fee. Check out the Vintage Garage Sale.

Bicentennial Parking Garage, 20 South High Street, $5 flat fee

Parking Lot 10, 50 West Chestnut Street, $5 flat fee

Justice Center Garage, 220 West Market Street, FREE after 5pm

Parking Lot 6, 100 North New Street, $5 flat fee

On-street parking and other parking lots are FREE after 5pm Friday.
