West Chester Downtown Foundation

The West Chester Downtown Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes community interest in the vitality, culture, and livability of Downtown West Chester through education, preservation and collaboration.

The WCDF sponsors Up on the Roof, an annual fund-raising event that benefits the promotional and Clean & Green programs of the West Chester Business Improvement District.

In 2004, the WCDF inaugurated the Heritage Walk to allow community members, businesses and visitors an opportunity to recognize loved ones and organizations through the placement of engraved bricks in downtown West Chester. The Heritage Walk is located on West Market Street at High Street along the historic courthouse.
