Everhart Park

Everhart Park, donated to the Borough of West Chester in 1905 by Dr. Isaiah Everhart, provides a dog run (dogs must be leashed and curbed), childrens playground, walking paths, picnic areas, and a number of public events. The park is supported by Friends of Everhart Park with oversight by West Chester Parks & Recreation.

EVENTS:

ANNUAL PLANT SALE | First Saturday of May | 10am - 2pm
Varieties proven to thrive in the Brandywine Valley are offered. Proceeds go to maintaining and improving Everhart Park.

MAY DAY FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS | May 4, 2014 | 11am to 4pm
Arts, crafts, food booths, and live music. Free for the whole family. Presented by the West Chester Parks & Recreation.

SHAKESPEARE in the PARK | TBD, 2014 | 7pm
Presented by Commonwealth Classic Theatre, popular plays by William Shakespeare. Outdoor presentation starting at 7pm. Bring lawn chair or blanket. Free-will donations.

TURKS HEAD MUSIC FESTIVAL | July 20, 2014 | 11am to 5pm
A day-long array of popular regional bands performing on two stages. Food vendors and artisan booths. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Free for the whole family. Presented by the West Chester Parks & Recreation. Rain date July 27.

EASTER EGG HUNT | March 28, 2015 | 10am
Come early so you won't miss the fun. The Easter Bunny will begin the hunt at 10am sharp. For children ages 2 to 9. Bring your own basket or bag for your eggs and meet at the Green Shed. Presented by the West Chester Parks & Recreation.

PARKING

Parking can normally be found on Brandywine Avenue and neighborhood streets. Be mindful of posted parking restrictions. During events special parking arrangements may be in place.
